How certification works

A signed pledge communicates your values, but certification proves your action. By validating your operational practices, certification demonstrates a true commitment to human-led AI adoption, ensuring your technology builds workforce capability and your adoption drives efficiency, all in a safe manner.

What certification actually checks

An assessment against the framework, not a badge for signing up

Every certification track runs against the same five pillars of the Human Led Framework: augment before replace, retrain before redundancy, human accountability, transparent AI, and investing the productivity dividend. What differs is what gets assessed, an individual's understanding of the framework, an employer's internal policy and practice, or a vendor's actual product behaviour.

That distinction is deliberate. A framework you sign yourself is a statement of intent. A framework an independent body assesses you against is a credential other people can trust without having to take your word for it.

For individuals

Certification is a personal credential, a route to using the Human Led Finance mark yourself, not a requirement to join or to have a voice in the community.

STEP 1

Register as a free individual member and sign the Human Led Finance pledge, a personal statement, distinct from the assessed certification that follows.

STEP 2

Join the founding member list and help shape the framework the certification will be built around.

STEP 3

Complete the foundation course, a short programme covering the Human Led Framework in practice, delivered through our learning platform.

STEP 4

On completion, become a certified individual member and use the Proud Member mark on LinkedIn, and in a personal email signature where your employer allows it.

The personal email signature use is subject to your employer's own policy. Where a company applies a fixed, organisation-wide signature, that takes precedence, and the mark is intended for individual use where none applies.

For employers

Certified Employer status is an assessed standard against the framework's five pillars, not a badge that comes automatically with registering.

STEP 1

Register your organisation as a supporting member.

STEP 2

Sign the employer Human Led Framework.

STEP 3

Appear on the approved employer list.

STEP 4

Undergo an optional employer assessment against the framework's five pillars.

STEP 5

Receive Certified Employer status, and the badge to deploy on your website, social channels and even job adverts.

For Technology Partners

Certified Technology Partner status assesses how the framework shows up in your actual product, not just your marketing.

STEP 1

Register your organisation as a supporting member.

STEP 2

Sign the Technology partner Human Led Framework.

STEP 3

Appear on the approved technology partner list.

STEP 4

Undergo an optional Tech partner assessment against the framework's five pillars.

STEP 5

Receive Certified Tech partner status, and the badge to deploy on your website, social channels and even job adverts.
